This story has been going on for nearly a decade. We are just starting the 9th edition very soon, so the echo of these events reaches the farthest parts of the world. About PalmJazz is spoken in the clubs of New York, European newspapers write lengthy about it, and the Asian artistic directors discuss it in their countries. Building the sense of value of this unusual event amounts to many years and millions of experiences. The world hears about us, but the most important thing is that together with you we can and we want to listen to music from around the world under the name of Palm Jazz Festival.

The idea of the author and artistic director - Krzysztof Kobyliński has been unchanged for years and still is from the very beginning. It is about finding artists who are great, who are fresh and original, as well as presentations of virtuosic stars mainly of jazz and ethnic music. This festival is a kind of composition. So far and until this day several hundred artists have passed through the PalmJazz scenes.

We have a pleasure to host among others: Branford Marsalis, Avishai Cohen, Randy Brecker, Al DiMeola, Mike Stern, Joey Calderazzo, Trilok Gurtu, Larry Grenadier, Richard Galliano, Terence Blanchard, Yasmin Levy.

We will do our best in order to grow this festival and continuously make it better. PalmJazz Festival 2018 will play this year in Tarnowskie Góry, Racibórz, London, but the majority of concerts will take place in Gliwice, the home city of the festival. Jazz stars of this year's edition will include: John Scofield, Jan Garbarek and Kurt Elling. PalmJazz will join dozens of artists and bands to make this festival an unforgettable experience. The creator as well as artistic director of PalmJazz is the composer Krzysztof Kobyliński, and the whole festival is organized by Fundacja Integracji Kultury (the Foundation for the Integration of Culture).

From the very beginning, the city of Gliwice is financially involved in the PalmJazz Festival - this year's edition is also financed by the city budget.
