Jazz gives us opportunities! And we give opportunities to jazz! This festival must take place! We look at our surrounding reality, sometimes is interesting, sometimes less. When this reality is obscured with a filter of jazz, it has bright, vivid, beautiful colours. This is the way we want to colour coming autumn reality for you. On 30 September, the 12th edition of PalmJazz Festival will start at Jazovia Cultural Center and will prove how important and necessary is live contact for all of us. Artists from all over the world, Europe and Poland will play live over a dozen concerts. We talk about top artists, musicians whose work must be at least excellent. This is our assumption and we keep an eye on it. Will play among others: Dave Douglas, Trygve Seim & Frode Haltli, Nils Petter Molvaer Quartet and Polish scene headed by: Leszek Możdżer, Marcin Wasilewski Trio, Monika Borzym as well. PalmJazz will also be an opportunity to meet jazzing actors like Jan Nowicki and Robert Więckiewicz with accompaniment of great musicians. The festival will culminate in AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of the Tychy City concert and close this year's edition of the festival on 16 October.
